The importance of speaking clearly and at the right pace has never been more crucial.
5 to 20 years ago, voicemails were simply that – a voice message you record so the recipient can listen to them at a later time. These days, people are using Textmail on iOS or Android phones to read their voicemails. The problem with Textmail is that it often leaves out part of your message, so the receiving person sees a big _________________ in between sentences. Even worse, Textmail sometimes gets it wrong. We had a client whose voicemail changed the word Black to White because Textmail misinterpreted the context when our client was speaking too fast. A quick litmus test? Take a look at some of your saved Textmails and see how often you’re looking at a big, useless blank.
